DJ Brainchild x Dego Mixtape Coming Soon!
A Wha' Him Deh Pon??What many of you probably don't know about me is that I got my start DJ'ing house and jungle in the late '90s. I wouldn't start spinning hip-hop regularly around 2003 (shout out to the Loosie crew). In those early days of DJ'ing, I dropped major coinage on import 12"s of groups I'd never heard of based on quick needle drops. One of the groups I came across at that time was 4hero.
Fast forward to 2011 and one-half of the group, Dego, has asked me to do the promo mixtape for A Wha' Him Deh Pon?, the very first album he's releasing under his own name.
The mixtape isn't quite ready yet, but should be hitting your eardrums by the end of the week is available to download here. It features unreleased beats, and tracks from Dego projects like 4hero, Silhouette Brown, 2000 Black, DKD, and more!
